Charity Starts At Home

A slightly different article today, we wanted to talk to you about charity and the importance of supporting those in need if you are able to. We know that this is difficult times for people and not everyone will be in a position to help others, but if you are and there is a worthwhile cause close to your heart then the chances are they need your help more than ever.

The Alzheimer’s Society

Every year we pledge to try and help out a charity that means something to someone in the business. Last year we fundraised for The Alzheimer’s Society and managed to raise a lump sum of money to help them out. We had a number of dress-down Fridays in the office last year and also gave a contribution to the charity for every sale and rental completion Christopher Stokes had. We were so proud to be able to present them with a cheque for £4675!

Parkinson’s UK

In 2020 we pledged to help Parkinson’s UK and despite some of the difficulties we have had thanks to Covid-19 our fundraising efforts are going strong! We have been lucky enough to be able to participate in socially distanced dress-down Fridays which the office teams have really enjoyed. We’ll let you know how much we manage to raise at the end of the year!

If you know of any local charity events, head over to our Facebook page and let us know – we’ll support the ones we can!
