Christopher Stokes lands big win at EA Masters!
Like any agency, we get regular feedback from our clients that we’re doing a good job and operating along the right lines. But it’s always good when the work we do is further backed up by awards success, which acts a great barometer for us in knowing we’re offering the best possible service to our customers.
We were, then, delighted to recently win the Best Estate Agent Guide Award for sales and lettings at the recent EA Masters bash, one of the UK’s biggest leadership conference, exhibition and awards events.
Each year, EA Masters assesses the UK’s 25,000 estate and letting agency branches and highlights the very best in the Best Estate Agent Guide. The award-winners, representing the top 5% of agencies in each size band in the country, are then celebrated at the EA Masters Awards, which took place this year at Evolution London in Battersea Park.
Here at Christopher Stokes, we were delighted to be recognised for our achievements, the first time we have won an EA Masters award following on from previous success at the British Property Awards (for both sales and lettings).
Mario Panayiotou, director at Christopher Stokes, said of the win: “I’m very proud of the team and to have achieved this award. To be chosen in the top 5% of agents nationally in both sales and lettings is a just reward for the passion, professionalism and enthusiasm we show in our work daily.”
He added: “Our M.O is to always do the right things day in, day out and the success will follow! At the same time, none of this would be possible without our loyal customers entrusting us with their properties (whether it be to sell or rent and manage). We will hopefully continue to win awards but providing our clients with the best possible service will always be our ultimate goal. The rest is just a bonus – well done and thank you team.”
The awards follow an 18 months like no other thanks to the pandemic, which saw the property market closed down completely for two months in the spring of 2020 as the UK went into strict lockdown. However, since it opened again in mid-May 2020, the market has boomed – with record high levels of activity, prices and demand. This has been fueled by the stamp duty holiday, changed priorities and a host of other variables.
Like everyone else, Covid affected operations initially for Christopher Stokes, but things soon bounced back in a big way. “It was difficult at first with the lockdown, but it gave us an opportunity to reflect and plan for how we can streamline and improve our services not to mention grow, which we have managed to do and we are now reaping the rewards,” Mario explained.
The team here at Christopher Stokes will not be resting on their laurels, though, with plans already in place next year to grow the business further.
“The plan is to continue to offer an excellent service and hopefully gain some recognition through the awards again. At the same time, plans are in place to open another office so that we can expand and help even more people with their journeys,” Mario concluded.
Covering Cheshunt, Enfield and other areas on the Hertfordshire/North London border since 2006, the team at Christopher Stokes aim to offer the highest levels of service to sellers and landlords alike.
We take a proactive approach to selling – rather than waiting for the phone to ring or the email to ping, we actively force the issue.
We’re glad to see this paying off with the recognition we recently received. Here’s to more great customer service – and hopefully a few more awards – in 2022!
