We all like to be nosy, right? Well, what’s better than knowing where our favourite celebs call home – now we just wish we could live like them…

You may think that most A-listers would flock to London to set up home but you’d be wrong. Surrey, Essex and the northern countryside are just some of the locations in which our favourite people have bought houses and from award-winning singers to British actors, it seems the UK is the first choice for all.

• Mick Jagger – Richmond is the home for this Rolling Stones lead vocalist. Downe House on Richmond Hill has been owned by playwright Richard Brinsley Sheridan, model Jerry Hall and Mick. The £13million traditional British house has certainly had its fair share of turmoil as Mick and former partner Jerry have been in dispute over ownership for many years. Last year, it was reported that Mick even changed the locks!
• Wayne Rooney – Wayne and Colleen live with their 3 sons in a £5million Cheshire mansion. The area around Wilmslow, Prestbury and Alderley Edge boasts 5 of the 10 most expensive roads in the North West so is home to many exclusive footballers and celebs alike.
• Cheryl Cole – New mum Cheryl has recently moved into boyfriend Liam Payne’s Surrey mansion. The Woking pad is reportedly worth £5.1 million and hosts amazing views, a ballet studio, cinema, tennis courts and a swimming pool.
• Rita Ora – London party girl, Rita owns a large but relatively humble home in North London. Located on a residential street, it is rumoured that the blonde songstress often hosts a-list parties and has been doing up the property for the past year!
• Jamie Vardy – Leicester City footballer and his wife and children have upgraded to an 8-bedroom Lincolnshire countryside home. An offer of £2.5 million was accepted on the property, which is located in a sleepy village and boasts a 7ft high fence so Jamie and his family will be able to get the privacy they’ve been looking for.
• Michelle Keegan – Manchester girl Michelle moved into a plush Essex pad in 2014 with husband Mark Wright. The gated house wasn’t easy to find however as Michelle has previously said the couple took ages to find their perfect home and even pulled out of 2 properties before buying.
• The Beckhams – Last summer, the Beckham family moved into a £31.5 million mansion in West London. Having residences in America and the UK, the Beckhams originally resided in ‘Beckingham Palace’ in Hertfordshire
• Adele- The famous singer may have a property in America but when she’s back on home ground, she lives in a sprawling £6 million countryside mansion in Surrey. The grade II-listed West Sussex retreat has 10 bedrooms, a tennis court and 2 swimming pools!
• Simon Cowell – The music mogul resides in a £10 million mansion in West London and was unfortunately burgled last year. He shares the house with his partner and young son.
