It's been 8 weeks since you first launched your property on the market. How has it gone?

It's been 8 weeks since you first launched your property on the market.

How has it gone?

If it hasn't been as you had expected, don't despair; all is not lost.
If your estate agent has exhausted all of their available options in attempting to sell your property, they may be starting to suggest that you accept offers that are lower than you were expecting.

But there are other ways. Ways that may not cost you quite so much in lost money.

Changing estate agents could be the key to unlocking the sale of your home, and it is quite an easy process.

Statistics say that if your agent hasn't sold your property within 8 weeks, they will probably not sell at all, and many properties actually sell using the second agent - a change is as good as a rest or reset.

Simply give your current agents notice of your intention to change, and instruct the agent that you wish to move to. There will likely be a notice period to wait, and you can prepare the new marketing during this time.

Any potential buyers that have viewed already could still buy the property if they want to, so you have lost nothing. In changing agents, you will access a new database of potential buyers that your current agent doesn't have or may not have bothered to contact.

Do you know that your property has had the coverage and exposure in the market that you need?
